Me too. I would go out and check on them, if it wasn't cold and rainy. Anyway, I doubt anything has changed yet. The storm we were expecting never really came- apparently the peninsula got hit pretty hard, but not much here except so sporadic rain and wind gusts.

I planted some a few years ago and they grew into this.

I just used compost mixed with gold dust. For every $4 worth of gold dust, the tree grows another dollar!

I just did a quick visual inspection, no obvious signs of corrosion on the portion of the coins above ground. The plan is to leave them for another week, then take some pictures and decide where they go after that.

I have some (100+) pennies stored in a bottle of "Alien Ale" I put in there about 17 years ago. The Alien Ale was a gimmick soft drink that I liked the bottle of so I kept it after I drank the contents; subsequintly added water & blue food coloring. The water has since turned clear & the pennies appear relatively unchanged. I regrettably don't have any "before" pictures. Now I wanna go digging in the basement to see if I can find it.
