Hello all, new here and would love every ones thoughts on what is going on with this coin. I have found a few of them.
Guess it is some sort of Die Deterioration? Cheers

Might be a small bit of wire getting embedded in the die then falling out to leave a little valley on the die's surface.

Thanks for your comment.
I have noodled over 100 of these with the same 'hickey' but to varying degrees of depth.
Also the background has a bubbly effect to it which I have not seen on any other coin ever.
The background is not a clean sheen finish as normal.?

That seems to have popped up on some 2019 5c pieces too - not sure what it is but my suspicion is that the dies have continued to be used after getting a bit clogged.
