Quote: For example, Ike dollars. (Sorry jbuck!) I like Ike dollars, but at the time being, I don't really want to build like a whole set of them or anything like that. Yes you do. You know you do. Do not deny yourself the pleasure!

Two and a half (one of them overlaps with the other two).

I gave up on my Dansco US type many years ago, primarily due to changing interests and deploying capital elsewhere.
I significantly slowed my Canada type, but will pick up something at a show every couple years.
So I suppose only two (or one if I can combine two related sub-niches into a single niche).

my collection: Type l reverse ASEs in 3 Dansco albums Morgans in 2 Whitman albums LWC in a Warman's folder Type Set in a Dansco album that's it. I have no desire to collect full (or even partial) sets of anything else. there are a lot of coins that I love the designs of, like IHC, large cents, Half Cents, capped bust halves, and more, but I just don't want a 'collection'- or 'collections'- of all that stuff. that's why I started a Type Set: so I could have one or two or three coins of those types without needing more albums or folders. so I have those 4 things going. that's enough for me. if I need to see full sets of anything I just come here and look at everyone's stuff. i prefer a 'minimalist' approach. it fits my lifestyle (and budget).

I also started just like millions of other collectors, saving Proofs "Amarican Silver Eagle" dollars since 1986 up until I think 2012 or later.. They are all in US Mint packaging boxes.. I might re-start picking up the ones I'm missing...

I currently have way too many albums I am working on & also actively searching for coins that dont fit into said albums such as a proof Barber half dollar. But for the albums I am actively working on: 1. Intercept shield type set 2. Morgan dollar albums 3. Peace dollars4. Commemorative type album 5. Liberty nickel album, complete but searching for upgrades 6. Buffalo nickel album 7. ASE album 8. Liberty walking half album 9. Standing quarter album 10. Mercury dime album 11. Lincoln Wheat cent album 12. Canadian type set album 13. Canadian large & small cent albums, Almost complete, just need a coin or 2 & some upgrades 13. Mexican type set album 14. Australian type set album, Not actively searching for a Melbourne centenary but would purchase one if one came up at a reasonable price 15. Philippines type set And probably a few more that I am forgetting about Also wanting to start a Washington quarter set but that will have to wait until I cross a few of these off.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

Wow! You do have a lot going on! I remember when I was "working on" several Dansco albums at a time. Most are filled now. Other than the open ended modern stuff, only two remain. That is what 45+ years of collecting can accomplish.

Too many, IMO My error coin collection which will never be finished, there are simply too many. My Ike album, getting close to being done with that one. I think I will sucker myself into doing a graded set after I am done with my raw set. My lowball Morgan dollar album I have a few others that I have not actively added to in a while like my Kennedy half circulation strikes album, my SBA album and my State Quarter album.

Khromtau, to be honest, I'm having a little fun working on the SBA's. Negotiating with the sellers is a bit of fun for these...
