A while back, I bought a Cornet head large cent for 2 circulated Mercury dimes, and I asked whether I had a good deal...objectively, it's not.

Here it is after I have carried it around in my pocket for a while:

The coin's surface is very good, despite being cleaned and environmentally damaged, and its toning is a chocolate brown color. I really like this coin now, and it is what I commonly carry around. Now, if I had to put a price on it, I'd say I wouldn't part with it even for $20 just because I like the coin so much. And that's what really matters.

It actually looks a little better, although you still cannot get around that hole. A fun pocket piece nonetheless.

Have you tried to attribute it? Might be fun just for the grins.

You do know there are people that collect coins with holes.
