That is pretty bad.. It's a fake that has been antiqued, rubbed to make it look like wear and then photographed on the tip of somebody's finger. Would you seriously hold a higher grade 16-D flat on your finger?

A most definite fake. EVERYTHING looks wrong. Color, date, rims, mintmark, wear, etc.

Yeah this looks like one of the worst fake Mercury dimes I have ever seen, maybe it's just the pictures but the font just looks wrong.

One of the worst fakes I've seen. But imagine if it was real and he put a nasty fingerprint on the coin/ dropped it on the window sill below him!

Placing that on his finger and taking the photo next to a window looks just to dumb. Looks all wrong as to color of coin too. Almost looks like Lead.

Liberty is all wrong, but I wonder if I did not know it was fake if I would be so certain? Was this sold or advertised as genuine?
