1959 D Cent Die Clash? - Coin Community Forum

For a while I have been trying to make out what is says. Then today I took a pic of both sides and put them together.. Any input would be great Report this Post to the Staff

Correct me if I'm wrong, From what I see the coins are losing everything above the foreign substance that gets under the coating, and I just don't see that happening on this coin I mean it really it looks like it's been stamped that's what I thought was happening for the last well since I found it.. here's another picture let me know if this changes anything Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/10/2020 4:21 pm A clash mark flows behind the devices (As clash marks are often just on the fields or shallow devices areas) A lamination flows over the tops of fields and devices and shows a peeling: Often depending on how deep the lamination is, you will see ghost images on the area that peeled.
