Some scratches, so maybe a lower MS. This date does seem to have two varieties (position A & B). Position A: Coins with portrait side down having upright edge lettering and, Position B: Coins with portrait side up having upright edge lettering. If your coin is position A, then you have bullion value. If you have position B then you may have a coin $800++. KK Report this Post to the Staff

Another Opportunity New Member Australia 25 Posts	Posted 07/30/2012 12:58 am As fas as I know, it's my only gold coin. The other reason I value it more is because it's old. I found it because when I was young I visited my relatives in Europe and asked everyone to hand over any coin they can. With this particular coin, no one believed it was gold, and I believe that's why it slipped through to me. Report this Post to the Staff
