I found some 1981 Bailiwick of jersey coins. Have and say queen Elizabeth the second on front and a shield and date on the back. One is 5 pence, one 10 and one 50. The 50 pence is 8 sided. Other 2 are round. Does anyone know if these are silver? They feel kinda heavy like they might be. Can't find any info on them. Also have a 1981 square bailiwick of jersey coin that says one pound on the back and says 1781-1981 bicentenary of the battle of jersey. Can anybody help me with these? Thanks

All are copper-nickel - the Pound coin was also issued in two different silver mixes as proof.

Btw,

The 5, 10 and 50 pence coins have very low mintages - 50,000 each. I'd definitely hang onto them. Before they reduced the size of UK cupro-nickel coins, I quite often got Jersey coins in change or when bag searching, but I never got a 1981 10p or 50p.

They r nice coins. In pretty good shape. Just thought I got lucky when I found them cause they have quite a bit of weight to them. Especially the 50 and 10. Guess ill hold onto em
