Box 50(40 CWR, 10 NF S&S):

MILESTONE! Just topped off my first full roll of silver War Nickels. So, it only took going through 100,000 nickels to find 40 of them. That is 1 silver nickel per 2,500 searched.

Also found 2 die cracks in this box (1994 & 1996). Interesting thing, the die cracks are in the same spot, going from the tip of the nose to the rim.

Found 2 pre-1982 Canadian nickels (pure nickel).

Most favorite from the box: a 1939 AU. https://goccf.com/t/109159

Wow, that 1950D looks great, as does that 1910 cent. You guys got the juices flowing again, so I stopped by the bank this morning and picked up five rolls of nickels.
Disappointed once again. These rolls yielded only one pre-1960 (1940) and a Canadian 1984. I think I have almost three rolls of Canadian nickels from searching bank rolls here.

Just finished another $100 box today. Ended up with 23 pre '60 coins (oldest was a '39p), 1 war (another '43p), 2 Canadian, 1 Mexico 50 Centavos, and a nice F/VF '47s that I'm adding to my collection of pre '60 s mint Jeffersons.

Good stuff, man. I think I have found close to 10 War Nickels overall from coin roll hunting.

Two of you found 1938d's. Amazing! My son and I have only found two of those in all our years of collecting.

Tonight's box yielded only a 1945P and a couple of upgrades.

Dang rachums, you are beating me with that hole filled. you have 4 slots left now. That box would have been awesome for me, the 38d and 55 would have both been hole fillers!

Out of 59 boxes I have 46 War Nickels. So I guess that's 1 War Nickel every 1.28 boxes.

Pulled a 45P and a 36 Buffalo nickel tonight. That makes 5 War Nickels and 4 buffalo from this weeks search. Thinking about adding a box of halves to my weekly order ... won't find any if I'm not trying I guess.
