moxking Rest in Peace United States 17900 Posts	Posted 03/20/2016 7:42 pm 21's always look worse than they actually are because of the terrible problem with strong strikes for that high relief design element. It looks 40, but I wouldn't be surprised with a 45 or 50, either. One thing I won't say is if it's been cleaned or not, because I really can't tell from this photo. Talk about a coin with a terrible cleaning problem, so many '21's have been dipped and cleaned it's terrible. Finding one without that and with a strong strike and WITHOUT ugly toning is a challenge.
