I recently bought a bunch of coins in a rummage sale and in the collection I found a Civil War Token. I have been trying to do some research on this token and I am finding that in 1864 this version was pretty common. But the one I have is a 1863.
Here is a brief description:
1863 Civil war token
on the front has 12-13 stars with Liberty at the 12o'clock position.
on the back it has OUR Army with wreathes around it.

I have been able to find a similar token without liberty on the front. But I have not been able to find any info on the 1863 token I have. Can anyone help with this info. So I exactly know what I have.

The collection that I did buy had a bundle of wheat pennies in it also and I an in the process of going through them at the present time. If there is any other finds I will let you know and sure to ask for more help.

First, welcome to the forum.
Second, I am not an expert on CWT's, but suggest that it would be best to post a picture for others to be able to properly attribute it for you.
Good luck.

I am assuming from your description that this is the coin you are referring to? Value is ~ $10 in average circulated grades.
