Here's a type I think at least one other member has: Poland, 6 groszy Sigismund III, KM#42. Gumoski says this one is 7 1/4 / 16th pure, or 45%:

First one fits the 48 % slot (6 deniers argent-le-roi = 0.479), a French blanc from 1385-1389:

Before Philip le Bon settled the 2 gros/groot coin of the Low Countries at 6 deniers fine in the late 1420s (my first coin of the 40% slice, and erafjel's 15th century blanc), it floated around between 5 and 6 deniers (40-48%). Anthony of Burgundy struck this one in 1410-1411 at 5 deniers, 3 grains, which comes out to 41%:

I think that's our 5th composition in the 40s. There is still that 42% Mexico type (which inspired this thred) lurking out there. After that I think it will get tough.

Yup, about all I can contribute here is another 40% Ike. I think everything else I own is .8 or .9 other than a few 40% Kennedy's.

Poland - 1664-AT 30 Groszy (Tymf / Gulden). Bydgoszcz (Bromberg) mint. 6.5 grams, 30-31mm, 0.500 AR. John II Casimir (Vasa).

Obv: Crowned monogram ICR. Two line inscription in Latin:
DAT PRETIVM SERVATA SALVS POTIORQ(VE) METALLO EST

Rev: Crowned arms, the mintmaster's initials AT on either side, beneath which, the text: XXX GRO POL. Legend and date surrounding the devices: MONET NOV ARG REG POLO 1664.
