My plans are to organize my morgan and Peace dollars into slab holders and slab pages separated into sets based on eye appeal. Collection A, Collection B, Varieties, then a notebook of high grade or higher value extras. The circulated Morgans will go into 3 album types with the nicest but circulated going in new Coin Collector albums, next will go into Dansco and the 3rd set in an old Whitman I have. I need to buy a nice 95-O this year. Other than nice Morgans I come across I want to buy 1 each month of Walking Liberty halves, Silver Washington quarters, Mercury dimes, Buffalo nickels, Indian cents and uncirculated Lincoln Wheat cents. I also want to begin roll hunting now that I am retired.

"Playing it by ear" - Gold coins are now out of reach and I have slowed down on purchasing silver coins as well with the price being unstable. Probably just going back to key and semi-key Lincoln wheat cents with a Flying Eagle here and there.

I had some time to reflect on my 2026 goals! Love this thread as it gives me the opportunity. What I want to do 100% (low cost): - complete my 100-yen MS set (miss 9 out of 103.. it's really true that you spend 90% of the time on the missing 10%!) - add a MS67 1971-S Ike (I must win against that dang ebay seller!) - add a 2013 PF/PR70 UK Crown to my monarch set (trying to find a deal!) Then, given the opportunity, I'll work on the following. Happy if I manage 2 or 3: add a MS63 1921 HR Peace add a PR65 1927 Crown to my UK monarch set add a MS63+ 1902 Crown to my UK monarch set add one quality pre-1900 Italian 5L/Scudo to my collection add one quality Habsburg Thaler

Quote: Not go bankrupt acquiring some of these 2026 250th anniversary coins I'm not laughing. This is the first year in many that I was interested in buying a lot from the mint. These items are on my list, but I continue to buy what catches my eye or seems to be a great deal. Bought a lot of vintage silver last year that is already well below spot. I will also continue on last year's goals 1. Continue CBH date set 3. 1908 NM $10 Indian, not likely but did trade some items to get MS-63 1915 last year 3. 1927 Peace 4. DCAM Franklin 5. Mint '26 Morgans / Peace issues 6. 1804 spiked chin 1/2 cent with nice reverse Cuds7. 1936 or 37 proof coins - did get '37 dime and half last year 8. Flowing hair dollar or half dollar 9. 1881 CC $1 GSA 10. 1885 CC $1 GSA 11. Cherry-pick rare silver 2026 from the mint: 1804 gold dollar The other gold issues intrigue me, but mint prices * gold price will make it hard. Many of these are not realistic but will continue to be on my list.

I dont know exactly how I did meeting my 2025 goals. I did add a lot to my British type collection and I recently acquired a 09s vdb vf details with some rim damage. That definitely wasn't on my 2025 list! For 2026 1. Buy from us mint like crazy. 2. At least one world crown 3. At least one semi key morgan (didn't do this in 2025) 4. At least one classic commemorative. 5. Not be impulsive (again wasn't always the best in 2025) 6. Have fun CRH!

primary 2026 goals: 1)- finish that pesky 7070 (including gold page). five slots to go. I did fill a big one yesterday by lucking into a significantly underpriced indian head eagle. i have yet to be so fortunate with that stubborn '66-67 Shield nickel. these are very pricey in high grade, and I am not into tedious upgrading. 2)- make some major progress organizing/downsizing my messy accumulation of world coins acquired via local auctions over the past two decades. 3)- 'finally' stop procrastinating and start up a selling routine on ccf.

Finish off the 50 State Quarters silver proof set. Complete Roosevelt certified 46-64 fsb/fb collection Complete certified WL proof set (I got the hardest ones 36 and 37 a decade ago. Considering going ahead and getting the 38-42 to complete the set)
