kushberry Valued Member United States 114 Posts	Posted 02/19/2010 11:50 pm ok so I bought a lot of coins off ebay and this quarter I received is odd its not in great shape but there is a hill on the back no indent at all on the front just a hill on the back I tried to take pictures of it to post but these are the best I could do any help on what this could be like I said obverse is completely normal flat Report this Post to the Staff

aladinslamp Pillar of the Community United States 3076 Posts	Posted 02/19/2010 11:53 pm I think the term could be an occlusion..gas bubbles within the coin that allow a bulging in parts of the coin. I could be wrong.....but other examples of raised areas were explained to me in this matter....... Report this Post to the Staff
