Thanks for all of the grades on it..appreciated.. It's actually a lot darker when viewing it. I had it tilted into the sun to max the details(very important) and then hit the contrast in Picasa and then added a lot of brightness into it.. Here was the OE holder and view of it.. and again ..this photo is tilted into the full sun..It's actually quite black without the contrast play..

I had to laugh at this grade and description..but it also made for serious negotiations. Yes 47..you and the others here are right.. Looking at the details in her hair,.. I would be leaning towards an EF40 myself.... but then again, ... it's my coin and I can't see the verdigris..or face rubs... The hard case was also badly scratched and there was some paste or residue in the devices and hair.. I felt that the residue might be attacking the coin if left there. I soaked it in a warm soapy solution and the residue was softly removed. With the right tilt into the sun ..the hairlines jump out ,..but the 9 jumps out also..and that's what I wanted to show. You can see the shadows of some of the case scratches.. When tilted and photographed in the other direction..the hairlines disappear.. Only adding contrast and brightness made for an unnatural but overly colourful result.. ..but now we can also see the 9 in full clear detail.. I was very very happy to get this cent.. . . .

Hey..!..You're allowed to say any grade you feel is best.. Now this variety was called 9 over 6 not that long ago.. but sharper minds prevailed (not mine).. and decided that no one really grabbed the wrong # punch ... ....but more probably had the right # held upside down... and whack..the variety was made...Woo..Hoo..!! ..let the fireworks begin..
