I thought it's been about 6. Maybe 4 or 5 :o

I have the Farthing too but it has a fair amount of ED.
Still a nice piece.

Like the relationship between your coin and the one on Heritage. Are you asking something? Saying something? I missed it too.

I think they (we) are asking how a coin you purchased over six years ago you have now found to have been auctioned less than five years ago.

Ah ok.

It was an approximate year estimate of when I purchased it. I don't keep date records of when I purchase a coin..only what I paid.
I didn't even see when it was purchased from Heritage nor do I care. Only the info about it in the description is what I was referring to as well as, "hey, that's my coin!" because of certain attributes.

That is a nice surprise, vermontensium. I wonder why the person who bought it from the Heritage auction decided to release it from the slab.

A scarce and historical colonial, by the way!

I don't know why. Hopes of a higher grade or what I'm thinking, most of us old copper guys don't like slabbed stuff although I have a few myself :-)

Thanks for the comments!

Because we copper collectors like to hug them.

You are absolutely correct Celticsoul - I forgot that we need to feel 'close'

There are some coins that just should not be confined in plastic, they need to breathe fresh air.
