I will guess coin 3: 240 AD Gordian III Denarius.

I have selected that coin for no reason at all.

I'm thinking the 1886 Seated dime was your first coin. Thanks for the contest!

I thought the 1920 Dime, surely the most common to get in change ^^ but I was choosing between the Morgan too - the sort of thing a grandpa might give his grandson.

Anyway look forwards to you joining the 1000+ gang ^^ hilarity normally ensues with tattoo's and celebratory drinks all around.

The results will probably come sometime today. I can't wait to post much longer.
Many of these coins were some of my first ones.
I originally selected 48 coins, but narrowed it down to 10 as I didn't want the post to be ridiculously long.

When I moved into my current house at age six, I was in the garage with my dad when he found a little plastic box containing this and one other coin.

Yeah, I knew it was coming. I don't have time to take pictures now, but it's an 1843 British fourpence.

Here's the other coin. As you can see, it's not exactly in the nicest condition.

Could be worse, I suppose.

At least it has sentimental value.
