Thanks Ray & Joe. Just noticed a distracting line that goes from about 12 o'clock in the coin's reverse, between the T and E of STATES, to the eye of the eagle. Didn't notice it until I held the picture at arm's length. Doesn't quite look like a scratch but I see a line. Also think I see what looks like an eyeball inside the eye of the eagle. It's saturday night but I assure you that I haven't been drinking.

Congrats on completing your Barber half set. I abandoned my attempt to fill out the set, less about 10 coins, some expensive coins in that set.

Haha... not going to attempt a barber half set. I just completed the half dollar section of my short type set. Not quite the same thing.

Received this coin today. It appears to be the same coin but it is considerably lighter in color which really threw me off. All the XF45 markers were there so not too worried, but it seems like they played with the contrast in the posting description pics to make it look as sharp as possible. Not disappointed since, as you all know, I have a preference for lighter colored coins.

Looks like a nice problem free coin to me. I don't really know much about grading these so I'll pass on making myself look foolish.

thanks. Just surprised by the color change. Even was thinking if this seller dipped the coin before sending to me.

I like it at 40. Preferred the darker look but still like it lighter.
