I'd love to see a George VI 50 cent reverse. I'd imagine it would be a lot of work though.

That is really cool -- and now it's been pinned.

Sharing it with the world on Pinterest.

You can find an intarsia pattern for a Washington Dollar but it isn't as nice.

I once challenged Steve (biggrassboy) to make me the reverse of the 1982 Constitution nickel dollar... I am still waiting...

That would make a nice wall hanging SPP but a lot of detail on that coin might take some time to do but man that would look pretty sharp hanging on a wall

SPP That's a HUGE undertaking! The amount of detail for a woodworking project like this is mind boggling! That's just evil!

Sorry. I didn't think it would be a problem.

It's deleted. I checked and it has not been re-pinned, so it's gone for good.

My apologies.

Thanks, Buddy. I knew you meant no harm. I also am under no allusion that people do not rip off photos from websites, such as this one, for misleading e-bay auctions and other improper things, but they should not. The disinterest of the webmaster to the intellectual property rights of posters on another Canadian coin website directly contributed to its demise. People were seeing their posted photos published by others. Not only did people stop posting, they removed all of their old posts. The site is now a ghost town.

This is a great site and I want to continue posting here. If people wish to use, or forward, a posted photo, they should ask the poster first. Cheers, Rob

Sorry for hijacking but can anyone explain to me what Pinterest does? From what I gathered here, I wouldn't like it either if someone is taking my pictures and using them. I know it's impossible to stop this being the internet but to have a platform to facilitate this is just wrong.

Slur: from my understanding Pinterest is a site that allows you to pin a website or photo that you're interested in... and then people searching for similar items can see your pin. (there may be more to it than that but that's all I use it for)

I use pinterest when building storage solutions. So I will look up something like "pull down shelf" and I'll get a bunch of pins/pictures and links to websites that deal with said issue.

Here is the wiki link to their article on Pinterest. The copyright content paragraph down the page a ways sums up my concerns with my photos ending up on Pinterest.

I use Pinterest to store pics of stuff I like but don't need to store on my computer.

And, just to clarify, my comments were to the OP and I used the ebay link to pin the wooden Canadian quarter. I was flustered by the negative remarks and rushed to delete the image.
