AU53, not quite 55 only because of low amounts of luster. (Maybe just the pictures causing that though)

Might be a 2 feather variety , could be slight damage at the tip of the long feather. On reverse something is going on under America . Net EF-45+

The reverse looks better than the front. The horn is so distinct! The Buffalo nickel is a great coin that is affordable even in higher grades. The Mercury dime and the Buffalo nickel are coin sets that can be had in high quality without spending a fortune except for the Mercury 16-D.

Some more close ups. What I believe to be mint made die damage on the reverse by "E Pluribus Unum".

A very interesting 1918 S that's for sure.
I'll take a whack at it as AU-53, but I like the two feathers if that's what it is.

I'm bucking the trend on this one. I'm not seeing circulation wear especially on the blow up of the obverse. I'm seeing a split tail, weak strike (normal)and luster under the toning. MS62

I'll guess AU-50. The flat and slightly darker of the buffalo's hip looks like wear to me.

MS61 I agree with Panzaldi I don't see any wear in the photos, these Buffs are tough to grade without having them in hand though. AU grade won't surprise me either.

Some of you hit the nail on the head. I have a terrible time grading Buffalos once they get in the high AU range.
