Excellent choice! I love the whole 2-cent series in both types of strikes. I also happen to own this same coin in the same grade! It happens to be one of my most beautiful Proofs.

great date and type. this example has alot of red for a red brown coin. ive found most 2c to have alot of spots, but this is spotless ;)

Yep love the 1871 in Proof it's one of the better looking proofs in the series, the 1869 also comes very well struck up with a ton of luster. This one has some great eye appeal.
