Never heard the word trucker in numismatics. I suspect the culprit here was a pair of wire cutters.

Cut with wire cutters. PSD Damage to a coin, is now just face value for the coin.

Maybe a trucker was trying to cut the coin in half

I agree with all of the above. Someone took tin snips and tried to cut this poor cent in half. After several attempts they gave up. Post mint damage; no way this is any sort of mint error. The "term" Trucker is not anything used in the world of numismatics. to the CCF!

Intentional damage, not a mint error.

Definitely looks like damage. No idea what a "trucker" is! :) Too bad for the cent, it's just worth face now.

Thanks Spence. That's great because I needed a chuckle. That is a damaged coin after it was struck and NOT considered a mint error. That person trying to take your money is simply trying to sell something! They are not a coin collector, have no experience and are just making up terms willy fin-igly! I bet they have a store on Etsy! This is what they deserve-

I completely agree with all of you. I oftentimes will search a few selling platforms for error coins. Most are nothing more than Parking Lot / Pavement Coins or other damaged coins. After asking what during the minting process caused this "Error", and received a bunch of gibberish as a reply.....I explained that the coin was damaged by some sort of snippers or scissors and suggested a few pictures be posted here.
