You can see surface disturbances on the obverse field behind Ms Liberty's bonnet and above and below her eye on the cheek and forehead.
On the reverse you can see disturbances in the fields between the eagle's wings and the laurel wreath. There appears to be some surface disturbances on the breast of the eagle and below the motto IGWT..
Coins like this are sometimes referred to as "sliders".
As far as a numerical grade goes there is only one way to find out! Send it in!

Thanks WesternSky for the break down.
I can tell you that in hand, this looks like it was circulated for a minute or two. It was part of the collection and not one of the BU coins that I have multiples of.
There are some sharp eyes in this group!
I'm picking out 10 or so to send in. This one will be one of them.

Quote: Wait up dave: au65? It's a very nice AU58 with the contact marks of an MS65.

I agree with fortcollins. typically you will see average strikes on 85(S) coins. this is a decent strike for the year. looks like almost all the luster has been rubbed off the cheek area and tops of the highest devices are showing signs of slight circulation. a nice AU58 slider

A super slider or as they were advertised before the third party graders came along, an average uncirculated.
Today AU58 just a touch of wear keeping it out of Unc. territory.
