Yes sorry that one is not a mint error--just damage.

Not an error, that is impossible to happen during the striking
of the coin so it has to be PMD

Hey @ijn, that is a good question. I'd expect to see at least a little zinc on the rev, where there seems to be a pretty deep scratch.

Per comments of @ijn and @spence, could we get a weight? We're all expecting 2.5 grams, but if not. . . .

There is what appears to be a bit of zinc showing above "AMERICA"

Would love to see a large and sharp image or two of AMERICA. Unsure if that coloration is exposed zinc or a little non-rot crud. Fun.

What concerns me is that there is an appearance of a rim of a smaller coin, but there is no mirror design transfer on the coin. So it wasn't done with a dime. Maybe a piece of plastic pipe may have altered it, without splitting the plating? But the obverse? Not a clue. But I feel this is PSD as it doesn't look like a mint error. I'll send Mike a note about this one. See what he thinks?

Looks like someone put it on the end of a 1/2" water pipe and hammered the obverse.

As everyone else said, this cent was damaged after the strike. The reverse seems to have received an impact from a thin-walled metal tube that may have possibly been used to drive the cent into a larger opening (hence the obverse damage). Regardless, it's post-strike damage any way you look at it.
