Good strike (for New Orleans), minimal contact marks, booming luster and excellent eye appeal. I'd be shocked if it went below MS66.

MS-65+. The neck scrape may keep it from 66.

since the 83(O) usually display a weak to average strike, the obverse is a decent strike. reverse typical. luster seems intact. reverse would grade at MS65. obverse has a little much abrasions etc. especially the neck area. thats going to hold this one to MS64+

Agree with those saying 64+. Pretty coin. May be in a 65 holder.

That's a fair grade. That's an undipped piece loaded with virgin frost on both surfaces. I'd take it over a dipped 66 like this one currently on sale. Every time.  |
