Ok sorry for the confusion its all the same coin and it IS a proof set. Its just really hard to get good pictures because the mint cello is so scratched.

Excellent find on this variety! Here is what I was referring to with the variety, plus MD. Don't know if this is a positive or negative though. The arrows are pointing to the MD.

Break it out of the plastic, give us better photos to enjoy, then send it off for grading...That's what I would do.... excellent find...Congrats

Very nice and very seldom found, congrats! That's a real tough variety.

So, how can a large date over a small date even occur? I mean wouldn't the operator have to be involved to make such an 'error'? The coin would have to be struck once with 'this die' then again with 'that die'?

It is a great find and to me it looks like a match to DDO-001, the letter E in the LIBERTY confirms that for me.

Dearborn, Coop explains it well as always. It's the hub that is doubled. Not a double strike.

Awsome, thanks so much for your advice, does anyone know how to appraise this coin? I know there's alot of unknown factors, I'm just trying to find an estimate of the (no less than, no more than) figure.
