A 1794 silver Dollar or Half Dollar
to go along side my 1795 Year Set .
But a Lamborghini , Ferrari, or house upgrade
Would certainly get in the way !

The first coin that came to my mind was the US Trade dollar. Therefore, I want to have such a coin in my collection. |

But most gold coins aren't common enough that the limiting factor is price; there's the modern Russian gold St. George, maybe the Soviet chervonetz (of the 1980s variety), and at a stretch maybe the American Gold Eagle. I guess it would be nice to get a chervonetz to fill up my Soviet type set. Though it would be quite a cheat; the 1923 version is rare and the 1980s restrikes didn't circulate. |

I've always wanted to own a Saint-Gaudens double eagle. I've yet to get into gold coins due to the price, but would love to someday.

If Santa Claus were in a generous mood, I would ask for a "Gobrecht, Flying Eagle Silver Dollar". Now that's a coin worthy of anyone's collection.

I need to save up for a 93-S Morgan to complete my set. I start to save up and sure enough I see something else that I must buy.

The 1909-S V.D.B LWC would be on top of my list, then the 1877 IHC and the 1909-S IHC. Needless to say, it's going to be a while....... |

Being in New Zealand, we have one coin which is the Rosetta stone of all coin collecting. That is the 1935 Waitangi crown. Released in the depression, the coin was a colossal flop (Sold at 50% over face value, at the time most people were starving and out of work).  Not my coin or photo!     I figure if I have a spare 10 grand sitting around, I may get lucky. Otherwise moving to the UK, the next two on the hit list are 1847 Gothic Crown 1841 Halfcrown (Even better an 1839 one as well) And again, no fakes or replicas. Must be original and not cleaned. I want so little in my life  |
