Yeah, interesting to find this in circulation, but for sure a fake as coinfrog has said. Compare this to the real deal 55 DDO and you can see differences.  |

That looks terrible - on the real doubled die the bust is also doubled, note the arrows on the image I posted.  |

I'll say it's a terrible fake coin, not even close the the 55 DDO. On the real coin the eyelid is doubled.it doesn't even look like Lincoln lol, nice coin to keep as a pleasurable thing to look at. Love Alun |

Looking at the picture comparison is terrific ... too bad we see this effort.
Note: On colonial paper money it clearly states ... "To Counterfeit is to Die" :)
