still has luster, so I think that would preclude acid or sandblasting..

From the look of some of the edges of the devices, maybe lightly polished/buffed.

Guys I let you decide. I put the original and OP photo. Seem was plated or a reproduction. Not really same design. Up to you to decide.

Seems altered after strike. Maybe fine grain sand blast or rock tumbler.  Thanks, Doug.

Well it is not plated - I can see the copper core on the edge. The design is the same - just VERY washed out.
What is the weight of this coin?

well it is a little light., so I might have to reverse my thought earlier and go with light acid treatment or sandblasting.

For me this it is a novelty. No design details, letters thinkers and smaller, and go on. Funy to know this coin.
