the position a and B refers to the edge lettering. A would be readable with the obverse on top, and B with the reverse on top.

It's a position B when the face is up the lettering is upside down.

That is a type of die clash that has not been seen often on J.Adams dollars, I would sugget sending it to Maddie clashes to register it after they start accepting submissions ( they ahve suspended accepting submissions for One year and not sure when they resume acceptance)

This is a fun find. Bit I think the person offering a die clash on ebay for $999.00 is wishful thinking by about $985.00 (if that). Clashes typically don't bring high values. Unless very dramatic. |

Very cool ... Is the "clashed value" enough to justify the TPG cost ? My curiosity lies in my possession of a full box. Time to start searching perhaps ? |

Thanks tinyretreàt there's two mine and another with very similar errors as far as value goes I can't find out a lot other than the other person wants 999.00 for his, asking and getting are two different things. . I've called two dealers and neither have called back.
