Agree that's a gorgeous coin with a nice strike and great eye appeal! But there are some nicks on the shield and obverse letters that may be limiting if you're hoping for more than MS-66RD value.

I'd try to get an Eagle Eye or CAC sticker on it if selling. Most collectors will price it by the label and if the label says MS66RD then that's their comps. These have been selling in the $1500 to $2000 range of late. Also, from your images this piece might + if regraded or jump to 67 making it far more valuable. I'd carefully consider your options. Regrade, stickers, auction houses to consider. It looks like a $2,000+ piece. Don't sell your self short and leave money on the table. IHC in that condition don't pop up every day and there are many eager buyers for such a piece. |

A really nice coin. I think the CAC sticker is a good suggestion. Even if you don't decide to sell it, the CAC designation would be a great calling card.

Thanks everyone!!! Now I have to decide whether to go after the green or gold CAC bean or shoot for a possible same grade of upgrade with a CAC holder. Any suggestions?

On the GC consignment form there is an option for a CAC bean - I would think that is the best route.

Since your plan is to sell it, I'd use Great Collections and have them send it to CAC. Forget CACG. Leave it in the holder it's in (PCGS right?) and have GC submit it to CAC for a sticker. It looks like a lock for a green bean. I've sold through GC many times and it's safe and easy with their online forms. We can help with the submission process if needed.
