That's a great looking coin. It's my favorite design for a copper coin, but I don't have one nearly as nice as that.

I can't hold back on this one.
That is a very nice looking large cent.
I also took the time to go back and look at your type set.
It is one of the nicest sets I have seen.
My set will never be the quality you have put together.

Thank you all for your very kind words! You don't think those carbon spots detract too much from the eye appeal? btw, it is in an ANACS XF-40 slab. I purchased it on ebay, but found the original pictures on the Heritage website, as this sold on Heritage too. |

The carbon spots are a little detraction, but not really all that much, especially considering the average specimen you find with older large cents.

I received this one today too. There is no need to update the photos, as the seller pictures are pretty accurate. The only difference is that the reverse is a bit lighter in color, and matches the obverse perfectly. The light scratches are barely noticible in hand, but the carbon spots are quite noticible.
