I made it back from Iraq in August, started into flight school in September, started up my Franklin ms64 FBL registry set over at PCGS(http://www.pcgs.com/SETREGISTRY/pub...76301&ac=1), and found out Thanksgiving Day that were going to have a baby! I just wish I had more time to get on here but with college and flying full time, it just hasn't happened. Come to think of it, I have a flight review at 2pm tomorrow. I should probably be reviewing required flight maneuvers and my flight plan right now.
Oh well, back to studying!

I started collecting this year and I have learned alot. I have a ways to go but I am
starting to figure some things out. Most important is to not get ripped off and not to go out there like a gunslinger and buy everything in sight.

I got a handle on my coin collection. I did some serious cataloging and weeding out of duplicates. I've always been really obsessive about organizing my collection, but there were areas where I didn't know what I had. I also began selling on ebay to drop out duplicates, build a paypal balance, and buy new stuff.

I joined CCF....bought my first large cent (1816)......enjoyed the first year of being a collector.....finished LMC collection, most of the later LWCs and Clad Roosevelt dimes. Just barely started Jefferson nickels, and almost finished State Quarters and Clad Washingtons. I finished a district collection of 2006 $1 bills, and have saved almost one hundred one dollar bills.

I think it's funny how some family members laugh at me because they think coin collecting isn't worth it. Then I tell them how much I've saved over the past year. It makes them wonder if they should start.

January 1st, 2010: Silver NY Fix bid = $16.85
December 17th, 2010: Silver NY Fix bid = $29.19

What did I accomplish this year?
I wasn't even remotely tempted to sell any of my silver.

Why is that an accomplishment?
See bid prices above.

Finished (to-date) my Jefferson nickels.
I am a 2005-P away from doing the same to my Roosevelt dimes.
Made a home (custom labeled Dansco) for my classic nickels (incomplete).
Assembled a nice album for all the copper LMC (I should consider adding the Zincolns this year).

I've been working hard on filling in my Canadian coin collection. I have about 10 coins to get to where I consider it done. I'm sure it will be completed (as far as I'm concerned) in the next couple of months.

Also, this year I managed to get all the Kennedy half dollars, P & D mint 1964-2010, just working on the S mints now.

My Lincoln Wheat cent is only missing 4 coins.... the key date coins. 09-S, 09-S VDB, 14-D and 31-S. Those will come eventually except for the 09-S VDB which is out of my league.

My Indian Head cent collection went from 2 coins to 30 coins.

Managed to get all the SBA dollars, P, D & S in 2010.

Couldn't have done it without all the great people in this forum.
