My favorites are worldwide silver over 30mm. with female representations. See example below.
It's a 'broad' realm

All the older U.S halves and dollars, coins with some heft, not to mention beauty. Most valuable coin (non-bullion) I own would be a 1925 double-eagle, ANACS MS65. The most eye-appealing, and really not at all expensive, a 1985 Canadian proof set, very frosty: those Canadians press some nice coins!

Walking Liberty Halves, 90% silver Washington quarters, nearly done on both of these sets.

Proof 90% silver Kennedy halves since I usually I can get them for close to melt. Same for the 50 State and ATB Quarters in 90% silver.

The Lincoln Memorial cents made of copper from 1959-1981 - they are so plentiful, so even the ones with the lowest mintage can be found easily (besides the 1960 small date). Plus, because of the fact the metal in the coin is worth more than the denomination.

Indian Heads and Mercs were fun. Now I'm enjoying Lincoln's and I need to finish up my Peace dollars.

My favorites to actively collect are (in order of current enthusiasm):

1) Counterfeits - contemporary or modern, preferably with good stories behind them to collect as well. :-)
2) Coin Roll Hunting (and pocket change) finds - Nickels, Halves and sometimes Pennies (album holes/upgrades, silver, low mintages, impaired proofs, foreign coins, extreme PMD, etc.) Basically stuff "in the wild." :-)
3) A tie between ASEs and silver Venezuelan 5 Bolivares.

My favourite coin is KM#577 50 Centavo, from Portugal.
I have recently completed the full set from 1927 to 1964.

This should have been a poll. Would have been interesting to see what coins come out on top. From what I think I've seen it's the Lincoln Cent and the Mercury dime as front runners. And that is odd since at all the coin shows I go to it always appears that Silver Dollars are tops for sales.
