Every year or so, I like to pull my collection out and try to organize. By doing this it seems I can get it more compact. My wife is away for a week so I thought this would be a good time. I will take this week to organize and work on my inventory. While this is not all my collection it is the bulk of it. Recently I bought more storage boxes so I could break down some series, like wheat cents. Now I will be able to go through rolls of wheat and put the better coins in boxes. I know there have been post like this in the past, but if most are like me their collection make big changes every year. If possible please post your collection, it may give others ideas on how to organize their collection.

Quote:Cool ASE cases. Are the flip books that State Quarters with info on the state The flip books are a Post office set of State Quarter. They have the P and D coins with Stamp and state information on each page. The hard cases (lighthouse cases) red trays have a complete set of modern uncirculated commemorative dollar the case with blue trays, I put proof ASE and a few of my better slabs. Putting coins in cases like these save a lot of space. I put the the OGP boxes in rubber maid storage containers.

Do they still sell them and do they come with the coins already in them? I've currently been using the PCGS blue slab cases but theyre starting to stack up kind of fast and you cant really fit a whole series in one of them which I dont like. Ill have to look into some of those

Quote: Those are really cool. Do they still sell them and do they come with the coins already in them? I am pretty sure the post office does not sell them anymore. I bought the set complete over a year ago. I think the post office sold them as each quarter came out, with the coins in them. There are two more sets of State Quarter set on top of the Dansco albums and several of the albums are complete sets of State Quarters .. did I mention I like State Quarters. Quote: They do look like they save a lot of space. This is why I wanted to post my collection, options like these save a lot of space. If I had left all the coins in the original boxes, there would be over a hundred boxes. The storage boxes also help to compact space. I am sure there are over 200 rolls of coins on the table.

I wasnt a huge fan of a lot of the designs for the series but I'm a sucker for things like that that have history and info attached. I would love to find a set like that. Thanks for sharing, definitely some good storage ideas in there and great collection

Nice collection. I too organise my collection when my wife is away - mostly so she doesn't realise the size of it.

I'd like to do something like that someday, maybe. Only many of my Albums are in safe deposit boxes. To much trouble to get them all for just a photo. Others are scattered all over the place so that too would make it a lot of trouble. I'm a bit to old to do all that I guess. Yours is impressive and nice to see you have the time to do all that. Sure looks like it took a lot of time and effort but it paid off.
