Found this Jefferson with a nice Cud today while going through some coins. Needed to get my first post on CCF, so I figured showing off this find would be as good as any. About to list to ebay. Any pricing ideas?
Matt

Very nice and rare find ... one of our members has a reference to the Cud variety.

I hesitate to offer ebay prices ... I've always found success with starting an auction at 99c with no reserve and letting the market determine the final price.

JSYK ... I recently sold a similar sized reverse Jefferson Cud on the Bay for $76.

I agree with nickel searcher that these are hard to price, but I also think that a Cud this size would easily surpass $70

I appreciate the advice. I slapped it up at 199.99/OBO. Already had 2 offers.

Considering the coin counting machine damage on the obverse, $120 is an excellent price to get for it. Congrats!

i just saw this, and a little over a year ago I found a 1972-D Jefferson nickel and it has an identical Cud on it, like a 100% match front and back. I still have the coin and it is definitely a different coin as it doesn't have the scratch ring around the face...i am really curious about it and would love some thoughts :) (its my first time on this site)
