Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 06/30/2007 7:59 pm It won't be 1951, it will be 1851, it has an indian head on the obverse similar to the Indian Head cent, and a reverse design very similar to the type I gold dollar. This fantasy piece is showing up more and more often. The first couple of time I heard about it, roughly 20 years ago, they were actually 1 oz silver rounds. Now they are base metal fakes coming out of China. If you check the weight they will usually be around 25 grams, and some of them a lightly magnetic. Report this Post to the Staff

The front and back I would say are identical to the Indian Head cent with the exception of course being "1 dollar" written on it. It looks authentic. Any other thoughts.
