Welcome to the CCF Watly26. Looks like a Struck Through Grease error.

I'll move this to the proper forum for more exposure.

What is the line on the face? Scratch, struck though or something laying on the coin?

I agree that it is a struck through error. (grease)Interesting, but if more of the devices missing there maybe more interest in this coin.

It looks like a lot of contact on the high points. (cheek bone) The mark on the head question wasn't answered. If it is a coin scratch that would really reduce the grade on this coin. If it is something laying on the coin's image that could be removed, would keep part of the grade.

hmm, might be junk on it or scratched.

Copy it and paste it in paint to see what I mean.
Then convert the color.

It is a tough call because of the marks on the cheek, ear and head. A third party grader may give this a damaged/original grade. So it would be a tough call grading from images. Sorry

It may have been part of a run of coins until they noticed the problem.
