2008 Penny Missing Mint Mark? - Coin Community Forum

Shoeplier Valued Member Canada 254 Posts	Posted 10/26/2014 12:37 pm I know barely anything about US coins. I noticed that one of my 2008 US pennies seems to be missing a mint mark. Is this common for American coins? How much value does this add? Thanks. The one on the right is just a regular 2008D penny. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good photo or close-up of the date. (i supposed there could be some 2008 (philidelphia - varieties, which mihg have a premium value) Report this Post to the Staff
