I know barely anything about US coins. I noticed that one of my 2008 US pennies seems to be missing a mint mark. Is this common for American coins? How much value does this add? Thanks.

The one on the right is just a regular 2008D penny. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a good photo or close-up of the date.

It is a Cent from Philadelphia. They don't have mint marks on them. That is normal. Billions of cents look like that .

US coins without a mintmark - were minted in Philidelphia. that is a normal - ordinary coin. no premium value.
(i supposed there could be some 2008 (philidelphia - varieties, which mihg have a premium value)

That's a bit of a disappointment, but at least I know something new. Thanks.
