I really like these early dated Seated dimes. Do you guys think this particular one would make EF40? I seem to have only the original seller pictures. Hope they are good enough to be able to judge. Thank you for your opinions.   |

I'm not very good at grading these, but I'll say VF30 overall. Reverse looks pretty good, but obverse has a bit of wear. Not sure if it's a worn die or weak strike.

Do you have the coin in hand for new pictures? The obverse picture is of a Seated quarter.  |

It's poorly-struck as expected for the issue but the obverse still doesn't quite let me reach XF even factoring the lesser expectation for something as small as a Dime. The reverse is XF all day. I have to call it VF35 all the same. |

VF-30 maybe a tad better but just shy of XF in my opinion.

VF30 or maybe 35. The surfaces would need to be examined in-hand. They appear a bit "dry" but that could be the bright images.

Slightly too much wear to call it XF40.

Strong VF35. Reverse should make 40. Obverse has me a little baffled as the stars and head have good detail. I would expect to see these areas to show signs of a weak strike. What am I missing here?

VF-35 with extremely nice eye appeal. I could see paying XF money since it is a quality coin.

Someone mentioned about the weak strike but that shield would keep me out of the XF range. I would call it VF++, or VF-35 would be fine.
