Grade opinions? I know this should go in the error section but can someone please explain the deterioration in the third picture. Die Deterioration? (Disregard the droplets of water on the bottom lens obv pic)

I'm not feeling too confident, but I'll say au58.

Now that I look at it I do see trace of the leaves from the reverse die.

What are the circular areas at the bottom of the front that look like moisture drops?

999fine. It was mentioned in the initial post. I couldn't retake the pictures since the coins was already shipped out to ICCS.

This coin graded a very conservative ICCS EF45.

I see hairlines...I think it graded so low because they net graded it instead of putting a dteals type remark on the holder such as cleaned.

Beautiful die clash...but definitely much more than an EF45. An easy high AU by today's standards..

I'm guessing that the ICCS cert is from decades ago..That's a very desirable 5 cent silver..

No, recent grade Devlec. The coin does exhibit a few hairlines in a couple spots. One of the pet peeves I have about the consistency of ICCS grades for coins with minor issues. You never know which was it will go.

Loving the die clash, certainly better than the EF-45 ICCS said, AU-55 would be my guess.
