HSN = Bad ,,their prices are always double or more what they can be found for in other venues ,over graded, over priced ,over hyped !

Please do not buy any of the plated coins !

I believe they are advertising it for $99 if you beak it all down

proof set $15
mint set for satins $23
25 air tight holders @ $1 each
and 8 regualr P & D coins
plus the box there in lets say $5

total: $76 give or take so about a $25 mark up

I suggest that you read the fine print before ordering this !

There is no deal to be had on HSN.

HSN, the jewelery channel and the coin channel should have a note after their names, "for suckers only".

Does this include the "Coin Vault" show? I was watching that the other night, and couldn't believe how much it sounded like a really bad ebay auction...

Average people watch Letterman or Leno monologues for their funnies. Numismatists watch Coin Vault.

Probably understated. I would have said it a little more strongly.

I have only watched the HSN a couple of times but happened on it when they were selling the Presidential dollars.

It's sad that hundreds of people will make purchases from them, and then down the road discover it really wasn't a great deal and that what they have is much less valuable than they had thought.

And it has been going on for over a decade, and there were a lot of overpriced sources for the general public long before them. After awhile you stop feeling sorry for people who insist on spending large amounts of money on things they know nothing about. Especially when they keep going back time and time again without getting any advice.
