They are only over a few letters and not very long.
Are they considered trails?

That is die flow from the die breaking down. They are more seen on the pre 1982 copper cents

Just part of the aging of the die issue.

They are two that I have found. I've been very fortunate finding Trail Dies. There are dies for most years of the Modern nickels.

Well aren't you the lucky one!

What's the best/worst coin you've found?

Ok, another day now. In answer to your question,

Quote:
What's the best/worst coin you've found?

I have found some in rolls I get from the bank, such as 1988 LMC RDV-06, Wide AM's, Cuds, Retained Interior Die Breaks, Kisatchie quarter w/ extra claw, rim to rim cracks, many Clashes, about 35 serious Trail Dies, 1951 LWC DDO & RPM, and so on. These are off the top of my head as I am writing. I've been learning Varieties and Errors about two years now. The more I learn, the more I find.
You asked for the best coin I have found. Well the best answer I can give you is posting a few. I can't really pick one because there are things I like about them that are so different from each other. I didn't find these in rolls,(except for the Trail Die). I found them for sale at good prices.

You also asked for the worst. I found this one in a roll.

Even in a picture, it makes me want to wash my hands.

I see now I could have found a much better Trail Die to show, but I think I've answered your question.
