Are These 2000 $1 Coins Different? - Coin Community Forum

coaster Pillar of the Community Australia 1364 Posts	Posted 03/27/2017 07:11 am After all the hype about the 2000 $1 mule I thought I'd have a look at what I had for this year. I don't know if it's just the wear on one coin but there seems to be something different about these two coins? The head looks a little different and the writing seems to be closer to the rim on one of them ... or is it just my imagination! Report this Post to the Staff

I know that neither are mules it's just that sometimes a coin will catch your eye as being somehow different ... maybe it's just the wear that makes the writing appear closer to the rim and the head look larger?
