@Spence
Excellent idea:
1. 1 Participation point for a medal with any other US president 2. Yes, I should have said, tokens count. Anything except coins.
3. Closing time: 7 pm Friday

Looks like participation is the best I can do. I have very little interest in medals, but when I was about nine or ten, they were handing these out at the door to a coin show. I just happen to live in the state named after a president. It is dated 1964, though I suppose that won't add points since it isn't Kennedy.

I wouldn't be surprised. A quick look at ebay shows quite a few that are going unsold for just a few dollars, while the ones that have sold go as low as $1.75 + $1.25 s&h. One ended unsold at just 25 cents more. I suppose it's understandable- it's not the most attractive design, nor the best executed.

@numisma, their low value might explain why they were giving them away at the coins show.
And you are right, not the most attractive medal.

This Token is from my Civil War Collection, Its in a WhitMan Civil War Token Book 1861-1864. I am not sure if its a original or a remake of this token, Has President Lincoln on Obverse, not sure who is on the Reverse. Hope this counts?

I have a medal, I just need to take a photo if I have time. I could use a stock photo, but that would not be fair.

I'm surprised I can even participate here since unloading my world coins, tokens and exonumia collections last year. Used to have a couple Kennedy medals or tokens. Only Dead President medal is the one used in GTP this go around, it is the Nixon/Agnew Inauguration medal(and paperweight). It's 70mm x 7mm, weighs 245.5gr of Brass w/frosted cameos. This medal, dated Jan. 20th, 1973 was a time of great change, when laws still mattered end even politician's feet were held to the fire. .In October, Agnew will resign in a plea deal of a conviction of one count of tax evasion...Nixon will be forced to resign one year later over the Watergate Conspiracy charges. Oooh, the "Good old days".

I'm gonna show a little love for Ike to get the participation point on this round. Seems like we never get to see that guy's portrait on CCF, eh @jbuck?

OK, here is the tally to date:
Arkie: 4 jbuck: 1 Numisma: 1 arbie96: 1 Spence:1 crazyb0: 1
There are still a few hours to pull a kennedy medal out of the box. Only 1 kennedy medal, the others are other presidential medals.
Edit:
There are no further entries, so Arkie is the winner!
I guess that I picked the wrong item-only one person posted a Kennedy medal. I was sure that lots would have a medal about an American icon. Maybe more of you collect coins than medals.
Oh well-on to the next round!
