Looks like feeder finger damage to me.

Thanks John. Would feeder finger be the same on separate coins? I have 2-4 with the same anomaly.

Not sure. If it looks the same in the same location on several coins,I would think die gouge.
John1
EDIT; ff damage is a gouge on the die,so I think the mark could show on several coins minted from that damaged die.

Nice find. I've been pulling out all 2005 D's and P's and keeping them. Might look through all of them and see if I can find that one. Think it could get listed as another error / variety?

Shotgung; I doubt it because I found it! LOL Seriously though the die gouges that I've found have been scarfed at by the pro's!

I just reread my last response and I must clarify. I meant the (pro's) that I've sent my coins to to be attributed,Not anyone here. Also no hateful thoughts were intended to those that I've sent coins to. If it's not a coin that can be attributed then it's not a coin that can be attributed. My apologies if my words sounded hateful or mean. Sometimes I say things that come out as not intended!
