As long as you got a good deal it really doesn't matter what you were thinking.

My definition of a good deal is if I can flip it immediately for a profit I'm good to go!

I've felt remorse for only a couple of things here and there, but never for a stack like that. At least there's silver in them thar hills.
Working on: Peace dollars (two to go), US type (early Bust era), Indian quarter eagles, Chinese pandas, and San Francisco tokens.

EBay is your friend.

It's a bit much, but yeah it has silver in them so there's that. They sell pretty consistently on ebay for just over $20 a set. Not ideal, but I think better than melt.

You went a bit overboard. I had buyer regret for blowing too much money on 80s proof sets which never go up in value... ever and no shops will buy them.

Nice bunch of sets....but definitely a storage issue

I got hooked on the 2009 Lincoln Formative Year DDR's and bought rolls and rolls. Had a blast searching the boxes, and found a BUNCH of different varieties but I didn't stop there. I went and had some (maybe 120-150) attributed and graded.

Now I have MANY 20 slab storage boxes full of graded DDR's but they are fairly easy to store that way

I would post a pic but I still playing the snowbird thing in SW Florida. Going back to MA on Thursday

Sadly, I have a box just like these for the 2005. No I did not get a good deal, I bought them directly from the mint. Worse, I have the same stuff in the clad versions. Oh well.

That is an impressive amount of sets....and a lot of silver. I suppose you could use them as a doorstop until silver climbs above the spot it takes to break even....

I don't think I've ever purchased that many of any one item.

yes, I've had that feeling before, but not with coins... at least not yet... I've been extra cautious about it...

...regardless, that's an impressive pile. I like it. you may have missed a few, though. you gonna add more to it?

i suppose you're done snowbirding for the season. we're gearing up for another hot summer and hopefully a quiet storm season. my motto for this year: fewer storms, more coins.

One of anything is enough. With a collection of proof sets 1955 to date and mint sets 1959 to date, I already have thirteen boxes. I don't buy to flip, just one to have for the collection.
