1960 LMC Doubled Die?

I have this 1960 penny and something is wrong and not sure what it is. Can you please help?

Looks normal from what I can see. This year and a large and a small date. This one is a large date from Philly. Pretty common. (Small date from Philly is the keeper ones) The black spot under the date is called a carbon spot. Coin is spendable. It has copper melt value, if we are ever allowed to melt copper cents.

That E sticks out to me, with that little nub sticking out. What is the cause of that?

The E might have some very slight Machine Doubling, but overall your coin is showing flattening from wear.

So with the E of WE, since I've never seen a die chip in that area, I'll say either part of the design or a die dent......others?
