Here is a look at the rarity of this $ 20 pickup during a choice option at a local auction:

I have never done a CAC cert. before and do not know when would be the best time to head in that direction.

I was undecided as to whether or not to place this in the grading forum. I ended up going here initially to gather thoughts on the extra varietal contribution over and above the basic (no variety) value of his piece in consideration of CAC worthiness...

The grading forum will be my next step.

By the way my investigations came up with this also being an obverse 4 with a reverse D; PCGS would not print all of that additional detail on the slab although I did request it.

Confirmation of this finding would be nice to know.

Personally, I would not find this a candidate for a CAC submission.
