Not sure about being rare but there's definitely a few interesting abnormalities to be seen on both sides, besides the lamination.

Are you sure that's a LAM?,I am not. All I really see is a VLDS coin and DDD.

No I'm not sure but that was my first impression.


I'm not familiar as to what a 'VLDS coin and DDD' is ... are you saying that this is PMD?

I'm thinking it's a combination of VLDS and possibly a dip in something. The horizontal "line" is on both the obverse and reverse. My first thought was it is a stain.

so it's a mint error this coin is full of life it's just the picture you seeing I'm positive it's a genuine error

Long story short,the coin was minted with a die that should have been retired long before it struck that coin.
